Many may not remember, but when _ blood stains: ritual of the night_, a successor of castlevania The franchise of the inventor Koji Igarashi was funded. One of the main objectives was an 8-bit spinoff. This spinoff is now available with friendly permission of Inti Creates and is called Blutstackt: Curse of the MONDES. It is available on PS4, Nintendo Switch, 3DS, Steam and PlayStation Vita.

Fluch of the MONDES focuses on Zangetsu, a demon killer daring into a gloomy castle to defeat a demons. With a sword, Zangetsu meet various allies on his journey, which can become playable characters. Such an ally is Miriam from ritual the night.

Imitation of the old school Castlevania Title in style and gameplay, Fluch of the MONDES is currently available for 10 US dollars. If you want to experience a retro version of castlevania (or randomly back ritual the night up to a particular level), this could be for you. The Xbox One version will appear on June 6th.
