In an interview with Gamesradar +, Spencer was questioned about the possibility of seeing Game Pass in other consoles. While the Xbox chief did not specifically mention the Switch, PS4 or PS5, he did clear that certain "closed platforms", are not willing to accept this system. This was what he commented:

"We have no plans to take it to another type of closed platforms at this time, mainly because those platforms do not want something like Game Pass. There are many open platforms so that we grow: web, PC and mobile ".
