Shovel Knight: Pocket Dungeon is actually a spin-off of the franchise, featuring a variety of characters that fans would recognize in its original games and extensions. He was initially announced for the Switch in February and had to be abandoned in the fall of 2020. However, like so many other games over the last two years, the launch was postponed. Now, however, Yacht Club has provided a launch window for the winter 2021.
"We are delighted to announce today that Shovel Knight: Pocket Dungeon, a puzzle adventure stuffed with a touch of dungeon exploration that we develop alongside @ Vine2d, will arrive on Nintendo Switch this winter! Club Yacht wrote.
Shovel Knight: Pocket Dungeon is quite different from his predecessors. It has been described as a "puzzle adventure mashup not like the others" and a look at the game indicates a thrust in an unexplored territory. This is a Roguelite Dungeon Exploration Robot which also offers a block game-puzzle gameplay. The choice of choice of the player will have to move and manipulate the pieces and fight the enemies by hitting them in order to inflict damage. Players can also group enemies and drop the blocks to start chain attacks. Shovel Knight's gameplay: Pocket Dungeon certainly seems to be the frantic and exciting experience looking for his fans.
