Pokémon Unite announces new Pokémon, mobile launch date

Nintendo and The Pokémon Company started your Pokémon Presents event this week with pokemon Unite News related to some new Pokémon that will reach the game, as well as the date of launching the mobile version. For those who hope to play the game since their Nintendo Switch, they will be able to do it on September 22 when the mobile version is launched. Like the Nintendo Switch version, it will also be available for free. We also knew about the event that both hands and Sylveon would come to the game, but the launching dates of those Pokémon have not yet been announced.

The mobile launch of POKEMON UNITE has been the plan from the beginning even though the game came first to the Nintendo Switch version. When it is launch on mobile devices, players can link their accounts through platforms and can also play with and against Nintendo Switch. During the presentation it was announced that players could use their Additional Zeraro license on both platforms, assuming they start session to obtain the license before the offer expires.

It was also announced that a pre-registration campaign will be held for POKEMON UNITE, a fairly standard marketing practice for mobile games at this point. Some of the rewards include a new cosmetic for Pikachu, some aean tickets to give players some money in the game to start and a license to play like Pikachu in pokemon unite. The pre-registration numbers needed to win them increase as the rewards become more valuable, but it does not seem likely that players have difficulty reaching even the maximum reward.

Finally, it was confirmed during the Pokémon Presents event that both Hands and Sylveon would come to the game. We saw each of them briefly during the presentation during some short gaming clips, but we still do not know what their skills are or what roles they will play.

POKEMON UNITE is now available free of charge at Nintendo Switch and will be launched for mobile platforms on September 22. The pre-registration for the mobile version is already available on iOS and Android devices, and you can check our game review here.
