The Nintendo Switch received a new firmware update and with it, many new quality of life features that may or may not please you. The last update, version 11.0.0, was distributed on November 30 2020 and includes a variety of updates - some more controversial than others.
For starters, the update added a Nintendo Switch Online icon on the SWITCH Home menu. This button serves as a one-stop shop for anything that concerns Nintendo Switch Online. Players can check their membership status, view their backups in the cloud and explore new games with online features. Nintendo Switch Online users can also find the ability to download Exclusive NSO titles such as tetris 99, and Mario 35, as well as Nintendo Entertainment System and Super Nintendo Entertainment System applications.
