REVIEW: Paradise Killer (PS5) - a mystery of wild murder that puts the player to the orders

The basic vanity of Paradise Killer is so brilliant and yet so simple: the player dictates the course of the history of the Polar. This adventure title in the first person plunges you into a fantastic insular setting where you have to solve a mass murder, but the responsibility is your responsibility. There are few tips - you simply need to explore the environment of the open world, discovering clues and gather evidence by chatting with colorful suspects.

At first, this can be overwhelming. The game offers you from the start of many unique terminologies and traditions, and about the first hour can be vertiginous. However, as the central mystery, you will slowly discover what is the island and who you are dealing with while you explore. It is an initially confusing frame, but finally fascinating that allows truly wild twisers.

Gathering your own evidence means a lot of walking and talking, and although the idea of looking for answers yourself is really captivating - especially when the last pieces get in place - moving can be a little a chore. The island is large enough and is full of people, collectibles and valuable clues, not to mention the important capacities that are inexplicably easy to miss. It's worth seeking everywhere if you want to get the most out of the story, but go from a to b is slow, and a fast journey will cost you a currency in the game, which is a bit boring.

However, Paradise Killer will seduce you little by little. Part of its intelligent design allows you to start the end of the party trial, where you will bring your final charges, whenever you want, giving you total check on the result. When you are convinced of knowing what happened, you can engage a procedure and present your case - there is no good answer. Combined with excellent low-tech aesthetics and excellent soundtrack, it's a game with both style and substance.

  • Real freedom to interpret the mystery
  • Large set of characters
  • Interesting frame full of secrets
