While Skull and Bones is expected by April 2023, Ubisoft makes the choice to launch an insider program. The idea is to allow some players, chosen for technical reasons, to test the game in advance. An initiative that may seem interesting but who truthfully hides the many problems encountered during development.
Expected since 2017, the pirate game has already been postponed after the different chess of the demos. What probably pushed Ubisoft to be discreet about it, the time to finally offer a pleasant experience. Or, at least, playable.
Although there is no guarantee of being selected, the followers of piracy can attempt their chance to join the INSIDER program. Development is today advanced enough to play multiplayer, hence the usefulness of such a program. The goal is obviously to study the returns of players. But also to make the right choices before the official release of the game.
